The STAR Gallery at Steamtown Mall invites the community to be part of its 3rd Arts and Music Festival on May 17th from 11 AM until 6 PM. Numerous visual artists will display and sell art and make demonstrations for the public, while local musicians will complement these events. MAY is a busy month in France. Mothers are traditionally honored on May 25 for what is known as Fête des Mères , festival of mothers.
May is also the month of flowers and the delicate “Lily of the Valley” is the flower of the month in France. It’s thought to bring good luck for the rest of the year.
