HOWARD TRAN AT KEYSTONE

There will be an exhibit of the sculptures and drawings of Howard Tran at the Linder Gallery in the Miller Library at Keystone College in La Plume. The opening reception will be on Sunday, September 7, from 4 PM to 6 PM. There will be an artist’s talk open to the public on Monday, Sept. 8, at 9 AM. The exhibition will continue through October 3, 2008.
Howard Tran received his MFA from Boston University, and is currently a professor of art at Lycoming college in Williamsport. His grandparents were from China, but he spent his early years in Vietnam, before emigrating to the United States when he was 12. His work explores the cultures and traditions of all three countries.
