CALL FOR ENTRIES - Kingston Sculpture Biennial

Sculptors with a commitment to a greener environment should submit your work to the 2009 Kingston Sculpture Biennial by March 28th, 2009, sponsored by the Arts Society of Kingston, NY, from July 4th through the month of October. The theme is: “Go Green & Keep the Hudson Clean,” and will feature sculptures created from natural, recycled or recyclable materials. In 2009, the city of Kingston will also be celebrating the Quadricentennial of Hudson’s voyage of discovery. All of the chosen sculptures are going to be placed in local parks that overlook the river. The idea is to cultivate a vision of the Hudson’s natural state, as Henry Hudson might have found it on his first encounter.
For more information & to download a submission form, please contact the curator, Meagan Gallagher via email @ ksb@askforarts.org. or visit the website at askforarts.org.
