An Announcement and Invitation from the Nutshell Arts Center to all Artists who wish to show Paintings, Photography, Sculpture, Ceramics and Mixed Media.
The 2009 Exhibition Schedule is as Follows:
Spring Show, “PRIMAVERA 2009”, will run from June 6 to June 21, 2009.
The Indigenous Show, “El Mundo Indigena”, will run from July 11 thru July 26, 2009.
The “Figure Show” will run from August 8 thru August 23, 2009.
The last show, “Art For All Seasons”, will run from September 5 thru September 20, 2009.
All artists are invited to participate in any or all of the shows at a fee of $60 per show.
The gallery hours have been extended by one extra day. We will now open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11AM to 5 PM.
All opening receptions are free and open to the public. Opening receptions are scheduled for Saturdays at 5 PM to 7 PM. Complimentary wine, juice and chips will be served.
After each reception there will be a “Pot Luck” party with music and dancing.
The Nutshell Art Center Gallery Annex, will be opened from June 6 through September 20, 2009. Pottery, paintings, drawings, photography and other mixed media will be exhibited at no cost to the artists. The works in this gallery will have a maximum price of $300.
An extensive collection of original day-glow paintings from the “Woodstock” 1969 Bethel Concert will be on display from August 8 through September 20 in our new exhibition room.
