ROBERT KAREKA: PHOTOGRAPHER is featured in a Photo Show opening on First Friday, 11/6/09 at Creedon’s Gallery and Flower Shop at 323 North Washington Ave. Scranton
The Reception will go from 6-9 PM. The exhibit will run for 2 months.
Kareka was born and raised in Scranton. He left for 30 years and returned about 15 years ago. He worked in NYC theatre for 7 years while shooting street scenes. Then he lived and photographed in Japan, Germany, NYC, Chicago, Cape Cod, Boston and Key West. For the past years Scranton is my home again and the natural environment of NEPA is my subject. Photographic style depends upon where I am at the time. This show is mostly recent work from the nature of NEPA.
